Disney's Riveria

Whether you’re a lifelong Disney fan or just looking for a touch of European elegance on your next vacation, Disney’s Riviera Resort is a total vibe. Inspired by Walt Disney’s own travels through the French and Italian Riviera, this resort is all about "C’est la Vie" meets "Hakuna Matata." It’s a Disney Vacation Club property and a deluxe resort, but anyone can book a stay here to soak up the Mediterranean charm, stunning art, and that breezy, sun-kissed atmosphere.

The Rooms: From Cozy to Grand

The accommodations here are some of the most stylish on property. If you're traveling solo or as a couple, the Tower Studios are a unique, space-saving marvel—they’re cozy and efficient with a queen-size pull-down bed. For families, the Deluxe Studios sleep up to five and come with a handy kitchenette. If you really want to lean into the "home away from home" feel, the 1-Bedroom, 2-Bedroom, and 3-Bedroom Grand Villas are the way to go. These beauties feature full kitchens, living areas, and even your own washer and dryer—perfect for when the kids inevitably get ice cream on their favorite shirts.

Disney's Riveria Skyliner

Transportation: Glide Through the Sky

One of the biggest perks of staying at the Riviera is the Disney Skyliner. You have your very own station right on-site, which feels like a private "highway in the sky" connecting you directly to EPCOT’s International Gateway. If you’re heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it’s just one quick hop and a transfer away at Caribbean Beach. For the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs, the resort offers dedicated bus service. It’s one of the best-connected resorts, making those early morning rope drops a breeze.

Dining: A Taste of Europe

The food here is arguably the best in all of Disney World, and it ranges from character breakfasts to sophisticated lounges. On the top floor, you’ll find Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera. In the morning, it hosts "Breakfast à la Art," where Mickey and the gang show up in adorable artist outfits. At night, it transforms into a signature dining spot with killer views of the fireworks.

For a casual yet elevated experience, head to Bar Riva, the resort’s open-air pool bar. This isn't your average burger-and-fries stand; it’s a chic, blue-tiled oasis serving up chef-crafted bites like baked brie, mushroom arancini, and refreshing frozen spritzes.

If you're on the go, Primo Piatto is the gold standard for quick-service—try the lemon-blueberry pancakes or the hearth-baked pizzas. And don’t forget Le Petit Café in the lobby for your morning latte or an evening glass of wine paired with a hand-crafted macaron.

For a quiet escape, head to Voyageurs’ Lounge, a cozy, library-inspired retreat tucked away near the lobby that celebrates Walt Disney’s 1935 European "Grand Tour" with nostalgic memorabilia, vintage books, and comfortable seating perfect for enjoying a coffee or cocktail.

Pools: Splash in Style

The resort features two distinct pool areas to fit your mood. The Riviera Pool is the main hub, featuring a winding stone turret slide and plenty of space for the family. Right next to it is S’il Vous Play, an interactive water play area for the little ones inspired by the "Dance of the Hours" from Fantasia (look for the hippo and elephant fountains!). If you’re looking for a "do not disturb" afternoon, head over to the Beau Soleil Pool. It’s the quiet leisure pool where you can actually finish that book you brought.

Special Features: Recreation & Shopping

The "extra" touches at the Riviera are what make it feel like a true retreat. You can spend an afternoon on the Event Lawn playing a giant game of chess or trying your hand at Bocce Ball. For the fitness-minded, the Athlétique Fitness Center is top-notch, and there’s a 1.4-mile jogging trail around Barefoot Bay. When you’re ready for some retail therapy, La Boutique offers exclusive Riviera-themed merchandise and designer treats. To top it all off, the resort is covered in incredible Disney-inspired mosaics and murals—the Peter Pan and Tangled mosaics near the Skyliner station are absolute must-sees for your Instagram feed.

If you're in the mood for a change of scenery, take a quick stroll along the scenic waterfront path to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, where you can explore the tropical vibes of Old Port Royale, shop for island-inspired treasures at Calypso Trading Post, or grab a refreshing Jamaican Frozen Runner at the fan-favorite Banana Cabana pool bar.

Disney's Riveria

From the stunning views atop Topolino’s Terrace to the effortless glide of the Skyliner, Disney’s Riviera Resort offers a perfect blend of European sophistication and classic Disney magic that will make your next vacation truly unforgettable.
