Ever wished you could relive the fun and iconic moments of past decades? At Walt Disney World's Pop Century Resort, you can! This vibrant Value Resort is a fantastic option for families and budget-conscious travelers looking for a unique and nostalgic Disney experience.

Pop Century celebrates the 20th century, from the 1950s all the way to the 1990s. Giant, colorful icons representing each decade greet you around every corner—from a massive Big Wheel and a towering bowling pin to a colossal Roger Rabbit and even a giant cell phone!

Comfy Rooms with a Contemporary Twist

Disney’s Pop Century Resort is split into five fun sections based on the decades—the 1950s through the 1990s—each with cool giant icons like a massive jukebox or a Rubik’s Cube. The rooms are grouped by location: Standard Rooms look out over parking or landscaped areas, Standard Pool View Rooms have views of the Bowling or Computer pools, and Preferred Rooms (including Pool View) are the closest to the main dining and transport spots.

Each room can fit up to four guests (plus a baby in a crib) and has a smart layout with one Queen bed and a Queen-size pull-down "Table Bed." All rooms are the same size at 260 square feet and come with the same modern amenities, but your room choice affects your view and how close you are to the Disney Skyliner and food court. Every room has a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, and coffee maker to make your stay comfy and convenient. The bright and lively decor matches the resort’s energetic vibe, ensuring a fun stay.

Transportation: Getting Around is a Breeze

Pop Century offers some of the best transportation links in the Value category. The resort features the Disney Skyliner, an aerial gondola system that connects guests to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, providing a fun and scenic ride. Additionally, complimentary bus service is available, taking visitors directly to all four theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. For those seeking a more personal or customized trip, rideshare services and Disney’s Minnie Van service are also easily accessible.

Pools & Water Fun

Pop Century boasts three themed swimming pools, each a nod to a different decade. The Hippy Dippy Pool, inspired by the 1960s, is the main flower-shaped pool that features water jets and a nearby kiddie pool with an interactive fountain. The Bowling Pool, representing the 1950s, is shaped like a giant bowling pin and serves as a quieter relaxation spot. Lastly, the Computer Pool from the 1990s is designed to resemble a vintage computer monitor, adding a unique touch.
